In 1974 the Galesi Group expanded into a new industry and started a Manufacturing Division. The first company, Vulcan Industries in Toledo, Ohio, manufactured components for military vehicles.

January 31, 1969 marked a new beginning for the Voorheesville Army Depot. Francesco Galesi leased 597 acres with plans to transform the depot into an industrial park.
