Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Rolls Out Rush Rewards Player’s Club

SCHENECTADY, NY — Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady announced today the roll out of its Rush Rewards Player’s Club, a player loyalty program that will let players earn rewards such as free play, amenity and food comps, prizes and more. To celebrate, Rivers Casino & Resort is holding a “Rush to Rewards Online Contest.”

Those who register online at www.riverscasinoandresort.com will instantly win Free Slot Play or Comp Dollars, and be entered into a Grand Prize drawing for $10,000. Prizes will be claimable upon the casino’s opening. Entries are limited to one per person, and the contest is open to anyone 21 and older.

“Our Rush Rewards Player’s Club is incredibly popular among players at our other properties, and I expect the same will be true at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady,” said Mary Cheeks, General Manager of Rivers Casino & Resort. “Rewards do not just extend to comps and prizes. Rewards members will get comp dollars and deals at all parts of this entertainment destination, including our many restaurants, our chophouse, our day spa and at our hotel.”

There is no cost to join Rush Rewards. Members earn points for their slot play and table game play at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady by inserting their card into the slot machine or presenting it to table games dealers before starting the game. The more points earned, the more reward benefits they will receive. These include free play, food offers, entries into promotional drawings, access to the VIP Lounge, discounted room rates, valet parking, personalized casino host services and much more.

There are three tiers of Rush Rewards benefits (Rush, Preferred and Signature), which are based on point level.

The operator of Rivers Casino & Resort, Rush Street Gaming, operates casinos in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and in Des Plaines, Ill., outside of Chicago. All three have Rush Rewards programs.

Rivers Casino & Resort is a $330 million project that will have a 50,000-square-foot gaming floor with 1,150 slot machines, 63 gaming tables and 16 poker tables attached to a 163-room hotel and a 10,000-square-foot  event center capable of hosting up to 600 people for conventions and special events, one of the largest spaces in the region. Additionally, the property will have a steakhouse, a marketplace with light fare eateries, entertainment lounge and day spa. The casino will take full advantage of its riverfront position with outdoor patios and pre-function spaces. It is expected to open in the first quarter of 2017.

Rivers Casino & Resort will be located adjacent to a new mixed-use Mohawk Harbor development currently under construction by the Galesi Group, which constitutes an additional $150 million investment in the 60-acre riverfront property. The mix of residential, retail and commercial space will include a 124-room Courtyard by Marriott and a 50-slip harbor on the Mohawk River and Erie Canal.
