Galesi Group Annouces: The Shaker & Vine to Lease Space at Mohawk Harbor
SCHENECTADY, NY – The Galesi Group today announced that The Shaker & Vine, a unique self serve wine bar, will lease space at the River House, a retail/apartment complex located on the waterfront at Mohawk Harbor, Schenectady’s $480 million riverside development.
David Buicko, President and CEO of the Galesi Group said “We are excited to welcome The Shaker & Vine to Mohawk Harbor. They will be located right on the waterfront with an extensive patio area.”
Anthony Graziano, The Shaker & Vine owner said, “We are so excited to be a part of this great project and the development of downtown Schenectady. When we first saw the site, we knew that we wanted to create something just as unique as the River house and Mohawk Harbor. Bringing a one-of-a-kind self- serve wine bar and a place featuring premium craft cocktails does just that.”
A lot of things will make the Shaker & Vine special, but the interactive wine dispensers will truly stand out. The self- serve wine preservation machines let customers sample a selection of over 60 wines, each dispensed with the push of a button. This fun, self-serve option lets the customer select a sip, a taste, or a full pour. It’s an innovative way to sample a variety of wines to find what you like best before committing to a full glass. Whether a beginner or a connoisseur, everyone will have the opportunity for a new wine experience. The Shaker & Vine will also offer a full service kitchen and bar with premium handcrafted cocktails, and a menu of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, charcuterie boards, and chocolate and cheese fondue.
Mr. Graziano has been involved with the wine, beer, and spirits industry for many years, and owns Chilled magazine, an industry publication for bartenders.
