A hotel with a view is postcard perfect
Last week was a stellar week for Schenectady, with grand openings and sneak peeks at all that’s happening in that city.
We were particularly impressed by the new hotel at the Rivers Casino and Resort.
It overlooks the river, and on a bright sunny Wednesday, pleasure craft sailed by, and the view was picture postcard perfect.
Just a couple of years ago, this was a muddy industrial site.
But on Wednesday, resort towns, wherever they may be, had nothing on this industrial city in upstate New York.
