300 executives attend Power Breakfast on Rivers Casino

How is the $330 million Rivers Casino & Resort impacting the local real estate market?

How much will casino dealers earn?

How much demand is there for office and retail space at the $150 million Mohawk Harbor development in Schenectady, New York?

Those questions were the focus this morning at the Albany Business Review’s Power Breakfast on casinos as Rush Street Gaming prepares to open a casino in early 2017 that will employ 1,200 people.

Close to 300 executives from around the region attended the event at Key Hall at Proctors, 436 State St. in Schenectady.

Panelists included: Rivers Casino general manager Mary Cheeks, Galesi Group president and CEO David Buicko, Legere Group co-owner Ray Legere and Dr. Steady Moono, president of Schenectady County Community College.
