First slot machines arrive at Schenectady’s new Rivers Casino


It’s another major milestone for the new Rivers Casino & Resort being built in Schenectady. The first 100 slot machines arrived on Tuesday morning. The delivery is the start of the 1,142 machines the casino will have on its 50,000 square foot gaming floor.

Rivers Casino to open Feb. 8


Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady will officially open Feb. 8, it was announced Wednesday. The grand opening date was revealed at an event outside the casino, on the Mohawk Harbor site along Erie Boulevard.
