Galesi, Bonacio team up on Saratoga Springs complex

The Galesi Group and Bonacio Construction will team up to develop the new Market Center at Railroad Place luxury apartment and grocery store complex in downtown Saratoga Springs.

The six-story project will include 124 apartments on the upper five floors. A Price Chopper grocery store, already located on the property, will continue operating on the first floor.

The Galesi Group, which is headquartered in Schenectady, already owns all or part of more than 11,650 multi-family residential units across the United States and has more than 11 million square feet of commercial and industrial property.

Bonacio Construction of Saratoga Springs is operated by Sonny Bonacio, his wife Julie, and his brother Tony.

The construction and development company is best known for constructing several hundred condominiums in downtown Saratoga Springs.
