Mr. Frank Ronkese joined the Galesi Group as Assistant Corporate Controller in September 1985. He was quickly promoted through the ranks and was named Vice President in January 1991.
For over 28 years, Mr. Ronkese manages the Tax Department which oversees all income, sales, and estate tax planning and reporting, inclusive of the shareholder.
Mr. Ronkese has been involved in several Real Estate projects over the years which include: Equinox Hotel in Manchester, VT, a 600 acre residential lot development in Clarence, NY, and numerous multi-family housing projects throughout the country. Mr. Ronkese was also the Officer in charge of the rehabilitation and redevelopment of 845 Broadway, a low income housing tax credit project which serves the most needed of Schenectady County. The $26.2 million project used housing tax credits as well as State and Federal Historic Preservation Tax Credits to breathe new life into a 1915 industrial building that once housed the Mica Insulator Company. The 845 Commons project was recognized by the Preservation League of New York State and received an award for Excellence in Historic Preservation. The Preservation League’s awards program honors notable achievements in retaining, promoting and reusing New York State’s irreplaceable architectural heritage.
Mr. Ronkese has served as President and/or Trustee for several nonprofit organizations.
Mr. Ronkese is also Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of the Oil and Gas Division. Mr. Ronkese therein manages E&B’s Accounting, Information Technology, Health, Safety, & Environmental, Risk & Property Management, and Human Resources Departments, as well as Treasury, Tax, Finance & Derivatives.
